The difficult part about both the visible and invisible workload is that this way of working can slowly become ‘your normal’.

Many women get so used to juggling everything that they stop recognising just how much they’re carrying. Because when you’re capable, organised and used to figuring things out, it’s easy to convince yourself that you should be able to manage it all and that this is simply an ordinary part of life. The truth is, the issue often isn’t time management or motivation.

It’s capacity.

There are simply too many tabs open at once, mentally, emotionally and physically.

Most of us have heard that phrase before ‘There are too many tabs open.’

Maybe you’ve said it yourself.

Because eventually, constantly carrying everything starts to impact more than just your workload.

It affects your focus.
Your energy.
Your ability to switch off.
And sometimes, even the enjoyment of the business you worked so hard to build is lost.
